The CIM (Belgian Centre for Media Information) has just published the Press Authentication Reports for the period 07/2015-06/2016. These figures show that Roularta's magazines continue to build upon their robust circulation figures. The subscription portfolios – with subscribers expressing a clear preference for full subscriptions (print + digital) – and stable sales of single copies have resulted in an evolution that is highly divergent from the market trend.
Knack, Roularta's Dutch-language news magazine, has a total measurable print circulation of 100,050 copies (-0.16% in comparison with the same period last year). Additionally, Knack now has 955 paying digital subscribers (+25 %), which means that Knack is continuing to grow.
Le Vif/L’Express, Knack's French-language counterpart, has also maintained a constant circulation with 62,380 copies (-1.23%) and 562 paying digital subscribers (+33 %).
As for the business titles, we have witnessed a satisfying increase of 4.21% for the weekly business news magazine Trends/Trends-Tendances, which now has a circulation of 45,673 copies (+ 825 digital subscribers).
Furthermore, the weekly sports news magazine Sport/Voetbal-Foot Magazine has continued to score with an increase of 0.49% and a circulation of 43,262 copies (+ 400 digital subscribers).
Nest has declined slightly, by -3.35%, but continues to enjoy a wide circulation as a lifestyle magazine with 81,468 copies.

During the Advertising Research Foundation Audience Measurement 2016 conference, Nielsen Catalina Solutions (NCS) presented a study on return on advertising spend (ROAS) that showed magazines deliver the highest return, with an average return of $3.94 for every dollar spent on advertising. According to the study "Yes, Advertising Works. Now, What's My ROAS Across Media Platforms?" the next closest media platform is display advertising with a ROAS of $2.63.

The editorial team of SZ-Magazin celebrates Germany as a travel destination within the pages of the Chinese edition of Stil Leben. This issue presents a treasure-trove of interesting information about the culture, economics and politics of the country. The magazine is enriched with fun facts about traditional customs which still feature in contemporary life; shopping inspiration for fashion, design, watches and makeup; important travel tips and also intimate glimpses into the world of handcraft and design objects with the “Made in Germany” seal of approval.
